Back from China and Japan – oh my, two countries I travelled to for the very first time, discovery! – we will play a last concert before taking a break to work on my music.
In April, I was nominated for the Swiss Music Prize 2016, a very big honor.
What I do is small and fragile. It’s never in your face, it’s not “pushing boundaries”, in fact, it’s not pushing anything. It’s not “crazy”, “wild”, and it isn’t “funny” either. It’s intimately circling chamber music that requires deep listening. Since releasing the first of my three recordings on ECM back in 2001, I have had a very international listening community that loves what we do.
Collecting sound moments, together with my fantastic musicians, it’s what we do and what we love. Come join us if you can!
